Asst. Prof. Selin Birgül Baran, M.D.

Dr. Instructor Member Selin B. Baran completed her medical education at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine between 1990-1996. She worked as a general practitioner in Bartın Health Center No. 3 between 1997- 000. She completed his psychiatry residency training at Bezmi Alem Vakıf Gureba Training Hospital between 2000-2005. Between 2001-2003, she completed the CETAD Sexuality and Sexual Treatments 3 Module training. During this period, Prof. Dr. She worked with Arşaluys Kayır as an assistant therapist in vaginismus group therapies. Between 2002-2005, she studied Family and Couple Therapies at the Institute of Relationship Psychotherapies. She attended the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy course given by the Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies Association between 2002-2003.

She worked as a Psychiatrist at TDV 29 Mayıs Hospital between 2006-2010 and at Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital between 2010-2011. She completed the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Clinical Acupuncture Diploma program at Hong Kong University between 2011-2014. She did her Acupuncture, Moxa and Cupping Therapy internship at Hangzhou TCM Hospital in China in 2014. Between 2014-2015, Prof. at Hong Kong University Space Clinic. He worked with Qin Aiping on Acupuncture treatment in psychiatric and neurological diseases. In 2015, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor Doctor at the Department of Psychology at Beykent University.
